Social activist Anna Hazare is on the road to agitation once again after 6 years. Anna had written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and expressed his displeasure over the problems of corruption and farmers, after which on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, sat on satyagraha for one day on Rajghat. Anna Hazare said that Janalokpal could not come even after 6 years of passing. The Modi government has failed to stop corruption and is not serious about Jan Lokpal and Lokayukta. Anna said if the government does not step in this direction, then they will be in the field for the struggle from December or next year.
Anna’s ten demands
1 Laws for corruption prevention: Janlokpal and demand for appointment of Lokayukta in the state.
2 Apply the recommendations of the Swaminathan Commission’s report on the problems of farmers.
3 Farmers are agitating and killing themselves in different states of the country, but the government is not serious about the issue of farmers.
4 The black money deposited abroad should be brought back to India. The black money of the country hidden from the ban on account of accounting.
5 The implementation of the civil code.
6 Farmers should get reasonable prices based on yield yield.
7 The political parties should also be brought under the ambit of the Right to Information Act, the Supreme Court also called for it.
8 Women should get protection and respect in the country. Concrete steps should be taken against the injustice done to women.
9 Gandhi’s dreamer should be the country 70 years after Independence, the dream of freedom fighters could not be realized.
10 There is a provision in the headquarters of the Ombudsman, the level of the CVC, the CBI and the officers and the declaration of the assets of the officers and employees kept under the purview of Lokpal.
